Another great week of song writing.
Another 4-way co-write. Lynn Tessari, Mikalyn Hay, Michael Hay and I.
This week’s challenge was to write a stand-in for To Be Alone by Hozier, to be pitched to Jordan Howard “I am looking for songs to pitch for a new series on Lifetime that stars Christina Ricci”.
Our friend, Google, told us this series will be about Lizzie Borden.
This turned into a grand example of how to co-write via email. We were shooting MP3’s and lyrics around on a near-daily basis and revamped the song any number of times. A very enjoyable experience.
